The quarter № 10 of the IC “Skolkovo” recognized as the best innovative project

The quarter № 10 of the innovative center “Skolkovo” designed by the architectural bureau UNK project became the winner of the professional competition of the NOPRIZ innovative projects in the nomination "Best Project of Complex Building of the Territory with the Site Planning of the Territory". On November 13, 2015 in the congress center of INA “Russia Today” the awards ceremony of the winners of the professional competition on the best innovative project held by National association of researchers and designers (NOPRIZ) took place. This year more than 250 design organizations from all federal districts of Russia took part in the competition. The convincing victory in the nomination "The Best Project of Complex Building of the Territory with the Site Planning of the Territory” was gained by the project of quarter № 10 of the innovative center “Skolkovo” built by the RD Construction company. Yuliy Borisov, chief architect of the UNK project bureau: "Recognition of the professional community is very important for us. In each object, first of all, we formulate the overacting objective. In this case, we had an opportunity to comprehend the concept of innovation. It was important to us to break stereotypes in approaches to design of the environment. It was interesting to glance in the future for about 10-15 years ahead and to create the environment for more progressive people than we are. Design of the residential quarter for the center, which has to be the engine of the innovative development, is an interesting and at the same time difficult task. The award received by our project proves that we coped with this task".
