UNK project is in the second round of the "Rosatom" competition

Today the results of the international competition on creation of the architectural concept of pavilion of Atomic Energy in the territory of VDNKh in Moscow became known. Six teams went forward to the second round and architectural bureau UNK project is among them.

The competition is holding in 3 stages: the development of the outline concept, the development of the architectural concept, an expert assessment of offers as a result of which the contract for development of project documentation for pavilion will be signed with the author of the best offer.
According to the requirements, professional Russian and foreign companies which primary activity is architectural design and those which have the experience of    project documentation development and implementation of construction projects of public buildings, museum exhibition complexes, objects of cultural or educational appointment could be Participants of the competition.
The pavilion of Atomic Energy is being built on a place of the former Pavilion No. 19 in the territory of Exhibition of Economic Achievements (JSC  “VDNKh”). Using innovative technologies it is supposed to create the unique building with a multimedia face, the transformed interactive environment in which virtual and real spaces unite.

The area of a site under building is 6 900 sq. m.
The pavilion has to have some levels (floors) including underground level and have the total area of 15 000 sq. m.
