UNK project enters the finals of World Architecture Festival
The project of VDNH's Atomic Energy Pavilion, designed by UNK project, entered the short list of the World Architecture Festival WAF-2016.
This year's World Architecture Festival awards, which will be held in Berlin from 16 to 18 November, are claimed by 343 buildings and projects. The organizers noted a record number of applications, most of which came from the European participants. The finals were reached by the architects from 42 countries, both eminent and budding, yet unknown outside their homeland.
The nominees will be evaluated in 32 categories in four sections: completed projects, "future projects", small projects and landscape. All the finalists will make presentations of their projects in November in the course of the festival. It is also when the winners will be announced .
UNK project competes for awards with the concept of the Rosatom Pavilion, located in VDNH.
