UNK project is a competition finalist of the residential neighbourhoods renovation in Moscow

UNK project  is the finalist of the international Urban Planning competition for the development of the concept design of the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki area under the capital's renovation housing program.
The practice will participate in the development of a pilot site with a total area of 125.9 hectares. 78 houses, located in blocks 74, 77, 80 and 81, are planned for the reconstruction.

The architectural and construction competition for experimental sites was launched on April 25, 2017. A total of 133 applications were filed, including regional and international applications. These are 291 companies.
The Moscow government approved the list of apartment buildings included in the renovation program. 5144 apartment buildings, belonging to the first period of industrial housing construction or like them on the characteristics of structural elements, there were in that list, as Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at a meeting of the Moscow government. The total area of the houses included in the program is about 16 million square meters, more than 350 000 apartments located in them, about 1 million Muscovites live there. The renovation program will cover all administrative districts of the capital.
