After its reconstruction the Luzhniki area will boast new sports facilities and upgraded infrastructure - right on the quay there will be a café opened by UNK project with stained glass windows and decorated ceramic baguettes, said the chief architect of Moscow, Sergey Kuznetsov. The cafe will be located in the immediate vicinity of the Grand Sports Arena. The main entrance to the building will be accessed from Luzhnetskaya quay. The building is designed in the elliptical shape, it has three ground levels and one underground maintenance floor. On the ground floor there will be a lobby with cloakroom, lounge cafe, toilets, food production facilities and technical rooms. On the second floor there will be a room for visitors, and the third floor will boast a bar with 40 seats. Beside the entrance to the cafe the architects also suggested installing a small fountain of 80 sq.m. According to the architect’s vision, the design should incorporate the use of stained glass constructions and decorative coating of ceramic baguettes.
